Sylvère Mérillat is the founder of syme GmbH and today supports the company as a senior advisor, strategic sparring partner and developer of innovative concepts. A graduate of the renowned École Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and a qualified hotelier, he combines solid professional training with entrepreneurial expertise, further strengthened through the SHV/VDH entrepreneurial seminar and his role as head of training at the Institute for Applied Psychology (IAP) in Zurich. He deepened his coaching skills in psychological change consultancy with Dietz und Partner.

With decades of experience in luxury hospitality and premium retail, Sylvère has developed outstanding expertise in defining, implementing and advancing service standards. His analytical foresight and creative approach set new benchmarks in service quality and guide companies on their path to sustainable excellence.

As the developer of the Excellence Transfer App (EXCTRA), Sylvère has created an innovative tool that sets new standards for capturing and optimising interpersonal service interactions. The app provides a scientifically grounded basis for coaching and leading teams committed to the highest service standards

Beyond his role as senior advisor, Sylvère successfully supports businesses with EduQua certification, helping them ensure the highest quality standards and embed them sustainably. Even after handing over the operational leadership, he remains connected to syme GmbH as an innovator, mentor and thought leader.

His current focus areas:
